While I was in the shower earlier, our dogs suddenly went berserk and my day suddenly became more exciting when I heard my mom say “Mingming nandito na yung Belle de Jour mo!”. What excited me more was that the package is bigger than last month’s. Upon opening the bags I saw not 1 but 2 boxes!

When I went to the BDJ Fair last Sunday, a Dial Soap was given away with the lootbags. And on my way home I kept smelling this scent that reminds me of pastry with a hint of coconut. Yes I have a strong sense of smell partially because I was asthmatic and because I love to cook. Now it smelled very delicate yet subtle and all I could find was a white box that says Dial. Now girls I know Dial sells soap but I just know their usual ones and this one is new to me. I nearly pinged the BDJ Team to ask what the scent was called. It was so frustrating to Google “Dial Blue” and all I could find was a man’s soap. So yes I’m so happy to see this in my BDJ Box today! I’ve also been using this soap since Monday and yes it is moisturizing! I love it a LOT!

Overall Verdict: This month’s BDJ Box is worth the wait. With six full-sized products with at least Php1700.00 in value, paying Php 580.00 is justified. I will be adding these very usable and nice products to my artillery. Thank you BDJ team for once again surprising us! Until next month! ^-^

BDJ Box Elite: Corporate Chic

Hello again! After three long months of not showing my unboxing, (please forgive me I am going through a rough patch) I will make it up to you by showing the contents of my very first BDJ Box Elite! Woooot!!

So It was only last Thursday when I saw this and I instantly thought.. “I have to get this!”. Lo and behold they don’t have office till October 22. So I got sad because I want to have one ASAP. AWESOME!!!

I tried applying it to my hand before I went to sleep last night and smudge it around 10 seconds after application. IT DOESN’T GO AWAY! Good job! So I guess it’s really meant to stay the entire day!  I was able to erase it by using facial wash this morning. I’m looking forward to applying this to my face later. Wish me luck! ^-^

Verdict: I’m not sure if I was able to say this on my last post BDJ Fair 2014: Live It Up but it was then that I had first had my hair colored. The day after I found that the color had change my hair’s texture as it can be quite obvious while shampooing. So this product came just in the nick of time! As it promises to protect my hair and it’s color. My hair feels wonderful after too. I’ve tried shampooing it with my regular shampoo the day after I had it colored and then I tried this yesterday. My mane was much more manageable after!

Verdict:  Had first come across this on the fair when I had my hair styled in the Davines booth. My hair though well made and ironed felt so protected and soft after. And since this is only a 12ml sample bottle, I’ll be saving the precious drops for special occasions. Hahaha

I plan to though before this week ends.

Verdict: I so love this bag’s color and it doesn’t look cheap! It’s has a padded interior so It would protect your things from minor bumps. I also usually travel light when going on a trip so my cosmetics would definitely fit. If not then it might be a bag for snacks when I start working again. Hahaha.

Overall, the BDJ Box Elite: Corporate Chic is a great find specially because I will be able to use each and every product inside the package. What made it special was that I was also able to chose the shade of Revlon lipstick which turned out to be a very nice and wearable shade. I’ve also been meaning to try the K-Palette 1 Day Magic so this solves my curiosity. Once again the BDJ Team had released a successful box! ^-^ I’ll certainly wait for the next one! 

 

 

Belle De Jour Fair 2014 “Live It Up” and the BDJ 2015 Journal launch!

Hi Everyone! I’m back! Sorry for the long post intervals. I’ve undergone some heartbreaks and my wallet broke too! Oh if my wallet could only speak!

So lets get the ball rolling! As everyone knows Belle De Jour (BDJ) holds a fair every October for the past few years. It is also when they launch the coming year’s journals. Here are some of the reasons why you should consider going to the next one next year:

• The team will be releasing the coming year’s journals and you get a big discount! 20% off!
• Lots of talks to attend and learn from.
• A ton of things to do like games and activities (wall climbing, zipline, scavenger hunt)
• You’ll get to try various products and services from the sponsors’ booths, and they offer discounts!
• Freebies and lootbags for attendees!

The Live It Up Photobooth is the first thing you’ll see. Great place to take your pics with your fellow Bellas.

This year is one of the best ones I’ve attended. As I’ve attended 5 of their fairs I have learned to arrive before 10am or the start. That way I get to enjoy the booths without falling in line that much, participate more and receive more freebies since some sponsors will have cut-offs.

In order for me to maximize my experience I checked on the sponsors and the booth layout that can be found in the BDJ FB Page. There I was able to see the special things they’ve got to offer like, Stationary sets from the Lenovo Booth, Free Nailart and Haircolor application from the Revlon booth and Hairstyling from both Status Salon and Davines. If you want the day to be a success you MUST have a gameplan! Hahaha and as you’ve guessed, yes I tried everything!

The Pet Express booth gives-out a stub for a gift bag with pet products and vitamins.

The Parisian Booth is crowded because like the previous year, they give out bags, shoes, GCs and other merchandise. Too bad I just got 2 notepads.

Getting my hair done after my Revlon haircoloring. Check my phone out! That’s my cheatsheet of the gameplan I had for the BDJ Fair. Told you I had one! Though I can easily put it on my phone’s notes I opted to stick it at the back of the casing. I save more battery that way.

Yes I know forgot to take pics for the Lenovo and Revlon booths. That’s because I enjoyed it too much there. The Lenovo booth was my first stop of the day and I was able to get the stationary set below. And I was like huwaaaat? Mongol now sells ballpens?! Now that’s something!

I have waited for the 2015 BDJ Planner from April. Because that was when I have found out that I won one from the BDJ Survey. So that was a 6 month wait to October but it was worth it. I love their new layout, it is more insteresting, less, bulky and the vouchers are all in one place called “The Perks of a Bella”.

But wait, there’s more! I didn’t just get my 2015 BDJ Planner for FREE but there was also another surprise waiting for me! Once I have opened my “Perks of a Bella” Look what I found!!! That’s me and our team for last year’s fair where we won 1st place for the Scavenger Hunt! This event is really special and this definitely made my day.

Joining the BDJ Community for the last few years had been one of my best decisions. Some think of it as “kaartehan” ,”gastos lang” or a waste of time.
