Last September we went to Isabela but since there was no direct flight for that day, we flew via Tuguegarao and did a little detour to a restaurant that sells pancit.
What we were served was called Batil Patong. It’s a noodle dish with groud meat, bagnet, some veggies, liver, chicharon and half cooked egg on top. To the right is a sauce to make it yummiest and a small bowl of red onions to add more crunch and flavor.
I’ve eaten the same dish a few years back in Pancit Center when they still had a branch in Pasig. But the original one really takes the cake. I love it! Too bad it is a 12 hour drive from Manila.
This is definitely one of the best pancits I’ve ever tasted. Eating this is a must if you go there! 🙂
